Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, DE, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 6E Oncology Unit on a full-time day shift (7a-7p). The role emphasizes relationship-based care with patients and families, supporting chemotherapy administration and symptom management 24/7 on a 38-bed unit.

The successful candidate will hold a DE RN license (or Compact), prefer BSN, and have 1–2 years Med-Surg experience; oncology certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (DE or compact) or compact jurisdiction accepted.
• BSN or commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on a 38-bed Oncology/hematology unit (6E).
• Deliver relationship-based care focusing on patients, families, and colleagues.
• Assist with chemotherapy administration and symptom management as part of a multidisciplinary team.
