Job summary

The Registered Nurse at CoxHealth’s 700 West Medical Oncology unit in Springfield, MO, is responsible for managing the care of patients with medical conditions or cancer therapies. You will assess patient condition, administer medications, monitor vitals, change dressings, and educate patients and families.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, MO RN license, and BLS within 90 days. Preferred BSN and prior oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and prior nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of patients with medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and change dressings as needed.
