Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Oncology Unit in Wichita, KS. Requires a KS or compact RN license, 2+ years of oncology nursing, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and MOAB de-escalation training. 13-week assignment, day shift 07:00-19:30 with every other weekend. Possible float to other campus units within Wichita; Cerner EMR used.

Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate. High pay and bonuses, plus benefits offered with Day 1 coverage and CEUs.

Qualifications

• Active KS or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• MOAB Moderate Risk de-escalation training required.
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required.
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start required.

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment on an Adult Oncology Unit.
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• May float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita.
• Provide direct patient care to adult oncology patients.
