Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse, Oncology (Day Shift) in Seattle, Washington, to provide specialized care for lymphoma, solid tumors, and sarcoma patients. This 13-week contract includes 3x12 hour day shifts (0700–1930) with weekend work every other weekend.

The role involves administering chemotherapy, managing ports/CVCs, IV starts, and patient education, with collaboration across interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and transport patients for procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
• Chemo certification from ONS or ONCC required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active RN license in Washington state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other treatments for oncology patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and provide education and support about treatment plans.
• Manage central venous catheters (CVCs) and perform port access.
• Ensure safety protocols during chemotherapy administration are followed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Transport patients to procedures and testing as required.
