Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Oncology RN experience is preferred or required by role.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, patient-centered care for a diverse population.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and the health care team regarding patient status and care plans.
• Ensure optimal patient and family satisfaction and care experience per Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Administer medications using the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary to manage the plan of care from admission to discharge.
