Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: BSN degree.
• Must hold and maintain NC Board of Nursing RN licensure; eNLC may apply.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; National cert in specialty preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes.
• Administer medications and document care in medical record; monitor responses.
• Provide timely, compassionate care and respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and follow-up.
