Job summary

Desert Hematology Oncology in Surprise, AZ is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, accurate patient care in an oncology clinic. You will assess patients, review labs and vital signs, verify doses and administer medications per JBIs.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree.
• Licensure: Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Certifications: CPR and BLS.
• Valid driver''s license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy and other medications as ordered.
• Perform patient assessment, review labs and vital signs.
• Provide patient education and triage care per JBIs.
• Document treatment accurately in EMR and ensure proper charges.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team and maintain patient privacy.
