Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Jersey is seeking an Oncology RN for the Oncology Nursing Unit-ONNU. We are Magnet-designated and renowned for nursing excellence, inviting a compassionate team player to join our cancer care services.

The RN will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and document thoroughly while collaborating with a skilled nursing team. Requirements include NJ RN license, BSN preferred, BLS, ECG and oncology certifications, and

• BSN preferred or must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
• BLS certification required per American Heart Association.
• ECG course completed during orientation.
• National Oncology certification completed during orientation.
• Chemotherapy credentialing completed during orientation.

The Oncology RN will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation
• National Oncology certification completed during clinical orientation
• Chemotherapy credentialing completed during clinical orientation

Salary Range:45.00 - 60.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
