North Carolina Nursing Job Details

• Location: Fayetteville, NC 28304 – Southeastern North Carolina
• Healthcare Setting: Short-term acute care hospital, Level III Trauma Center, Cancer Center
• Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1920–$1970
• Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Guaranteed Hours: Per contract (call off policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment)
  
  

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact state nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of recent registered nurse experience (oncology nursing experience preferred)
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to float within hospital or sister campus as needed
• Must pass background and compliance requirements
• Local candidates not accepted within a 50-mile radius of facility
  
  

Oncology Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality oncology nursing care to cancer patients in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care using EPIC electronic health records
• Educate and support oncology patients and their families throughout the cancer treatment process
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital and healthcare policies
• Participate in daily oncology treatment scheduling and ensure timely delivery of nursing care
