Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma City is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, advocate for patient rights, and maintain confidentiality while upholding Mercy Service Standards.

Ideal candidates have an accredited RN program graduation, an active RN license in the state or compact, and certifications such as ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds, prolonged standing and walking.
• Certifications ACLS/BLS or completion within 30 days of hire; other unit certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with Mercy standards.
