Job summary

Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona, a part of the American Oncology Network, LLC, is hiring a Registered Nurse in Flagstaff, AZ. The role focuses on safe, accurate patient care including assessment, labs review, medication safety, dose verification, and treatment administration within an oncology setting.

The RN will triage, educate patients, document in EMR, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient privacy and compliance with JBIs and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required and an unrestricted RN license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and review labs and vital signs.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy and other agents.
• Triage patient needs and communicate with care teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans and side effects.
• Document care and treatments accurately in the EMR.
• Adhere to safety, HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
