Job summary

Hope Cancer Care of Nevada is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, accurate patient care in an oncology setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, review of labs and vitals, chemotherapy administration, and dose verification following JBIs.

You will educate patients and caregivers, document in EMR, manage triage calls, and help with inventory and safety trainings. Must hold an RN license, CPR/BLS, and be fluent in English; travel to other clinic locations may be

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, accurate and efficient patient care including assessment, labs, vitals and dose verification.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy and supportive care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications and treatment plans.
• Document thoroughly in EMR and ensure proper charges.
• Perform triage and respond to calls from patients and facilities in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory and stocking of supplies; participate in trainings and meetings.
