Meritus Health’s John R. Marsh Cancer Center seeks a compassionate Oncology RN to join our team in Hagerstown, MD. You will care for patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and supportive cancer care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

This role emphasizes education, advocacy, and patient-centered care, with a focus on safety, documentation, and compassionate support throughout the cancer journey.

Competenze

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Maryland RN license required or eligible for Compact with Maryland agreement.

Mansioni

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate oncology nursing care.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other cancer treatments.
• Monitor for treatment response and adverse effects; intervene as needed.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, plans, meds, and resources.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Advocate for patients and navigate care needs.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Follow infection prevention and safety standards.
• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families.
