Offering Opportunity for Board Certified Radiation Oncologist
Center is seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist with proton therapy experience to serve our patients. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, growing comprehensive cancer provider in a family-oriented region that boasts abundant natural beauty. The hired physician will work with a team of oncology professionals consisting of radiation oncologists along with a dedicated and compassionate radiotherapy support staff of two advanced practice providers, six medical physicists, five medical dosimetrists, seventeen radiation therapists, six registered nurses, and two medical assistants.
Center is a growing APEx-accredited organization in its seventh year of operation and has treated nearly 4000 patients from around the world. The center currently employs a three-room proton therapy system (one fixed beam and two gantries) with IBA equipment, utilizing pencil beam scanning. The center has two additional treatment rooms available that can be activated as demand requires. Photon modality is provided via an Elekta Synergy linear accelerator. The center maintains the most current available versions of treatment planning software and electronic health record technology through RayStation, Monaco, ElektaXio, and Mosaiq. Center is the flagship of the expanding Network which includes the Center in Nashville, TN and the center under construction in Orlando, Florida.
