Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse to assist physicians in evaluating, managing and treating oncology and internal medicine patients within a defined scope of practice and under supervision.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document patient care, formulate treatment plans, respond to inpatient consults, and may perform minor procedures while delivering world-class, compassionate care in a learning environment.

Qualifications

• Oncology or internal medicine experience required or preferred.
• Ability to work within a defined scope of practice under supervision.
• Strong communication and patient care focus necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team, coordinating and optimizing care for postoperative patients.
• Responds to inpatient consults, assesses patients and escalates as needed.
• Correlates data to formulate a differential or working diagnosis and plans.
