Responsibilities

• Accurately measure, count, and label prescribed medications.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled correctly by reviewing name, dosage, and instructions.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries about prescriptions and health products.
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while assisting customers.
• Track and manage inventory to ensure adequate stock of medications and supplies.
• Assist with ordering medications and supplies.
• Organize medications by category and regulatory requirements.
• Store medications properly, including controlled substances, per guidelines.
• Maintain clean and safe pharmacy areas and update patient records.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies.
• Some technicians may assist in compounding medications or preparing doses.
• Handle administrative tasks such as prescription logs, billing verifications, and updating patient files.
• Rotate between office locations as required.
