Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician Registration/License in Florida required, National Certification (CPhT) preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cart exchanges.
• Address pharmacy telephones/window communication responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Process nursing messages from Epic in-basket.
• Accurately dispense medications and supplies to appropriate areas.
• Restock automated dispensing cabinets as needed.
• Report out of stock to Pharmacist.
• Package and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Monitor outdates/ shortages according to policy.
