Qualifications

  • PharmD required.
  • Current Tennessee pharmacy license.
  • Minimum 5 years pharmacy experience, with at least 3 in a clinical/health-system setting or PGY-1/PGY-2 residency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight of clinical pharmacy operations, focusing on patient-centered outcomes.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for drug therapy, interactions, and pharmacokinetics to support care teams.
  • Lead development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state/accrediting standards (USP <797>/<800>, CMS, etc.).
  • Monitor inventory and formulary adherence to optimize cost and safety.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and report outcomes to leadership.
  • Precept interns/residents and support continuous clinical education.
