Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator to lead oncology pharmacy practice, optimize workflows, and coordinate care across clinical teams in a hospital setting.

The role requires 3–5 years of oncology clinical practice, licensure as a pharmacist, and strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics, therapeutics, and EMR systems. It includes teaching, program oversight, and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree in pharmacy; PharmD or advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in oncology clinical practice or oncology residency with 1+ year oncology practice.
• Licensure: Michigan pharmacist license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice: participate on multi-disciplinary team; develop education sheets for patients and nursing references; serve as preceptor for students and residents.
• Regional Informatics: support Oncology EMR implementation; develop and monitor decision support; ensure policy compliance and information dissemination.
• Leadership: co-chair oncology committee; lead meetings and present new drugs and guidelines; mentor staff.
