Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a full-time Evening Inpatient Oncology Pharmacist to support BMT/Cellular Therapy and adult hematology and medical oncology patients.

You will review chemotherapy orders, monitor drug therapy, educate patients, and participate in guideline development. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are offered; California pharmacist license and Oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
• BLS certification as outlined in CPR and Code Blue procedures.
• Clinical oncology experience; BCOP preferred; EPIC/Beacon experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient care for cancer patients including hematologic and solid tumors.
• Review and verify chemotherapy orders for safety and accuracy.
• Educate patients about treatments and care plans.
• Monitor therapeutic drug levels to optimize therapy.
• Participate in oncology guideline development and drug monographs.
• Provide accurate drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
