Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries and concerns.
• Train technicians and new pharmacists to ensure quality service.
• Supervise and verify technicians' work for accuracy.
• Participate in quality assurance activities (anticoagulation monitoring, SCIP, medication reconciliation).
• Prepare and check patient medications as ordered by physicians.
• Instruct patients on proper use and effects of medications.
• Enforce formulary and review non-formulary orders with physicians.
• Perform pharmacokinetics services and antibiotic stewardship.
• Record clinical interventions and regulate controlled substances.
