Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Oncology Technician II to assist with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care to Oncology patients in a fast-paced setting. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will help maintain a safe and clean environment and follow all regulatory requirements.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, BLS or CNA licensure, and strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS and/or CNA licensure required.
• Transcript submission to department manager biannually; testing authorization within 90 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing care for Oncology patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting bodies.
