Job summary

UPMC is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Hematology/Oncology team at Hillman Cancer Center, Mt. Lebanon, PA. The role emphasizes collaboration, independent clinical judgment, and strong mentorship in oncology care.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with 10% rounding in hospital and 90% outpatient work. The posted salary range is for a Senior level with 3+ years of APP experience; opportunities involve growth and leadership

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program required.
• BSN required; MSN preferred
• Current Pennsylvania RN license and CRNP certification required
• National certification and eligibility for licensure and CRNP certification by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
• Graduation from an ARC‑PA–accredited Physician Assistant program required
• Current Pennsylvania PA license and NCCPA certification required
• Current CPR certification
• Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 clearances
• Minimum of 3 years APP experience or completion of a post‑graduate residency

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care with clinical judgment and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care and education.
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive work environment and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan.
• Assess patient data and apply departmental policies in care delivery.
