Job summary

City of Hope seeks a skilled Clinical Nurse for the operating room, specializing in cancer treatment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing required.
• Current California RN license.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience.
• 1 year perioperative experience or course completed within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cancer-related surgical procedures including tumor removal and reconstructive surgery.
• Prepare operating room with required equipment, instruments and supplies.
• Prepare and maintain OR for robotic-assisted surgeries, ensuring sterility.
• Monitor patients during surgery and assist with managing complications.
• Provide post-operative wound care and pain management.
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures and medications.
