You will perform comprehensive assessments, manage chemotherapy and supportive treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate care across the oncology team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and APRN or PA-C license (state-appropriate).
• National board certification as NP or PA.
• Oncology nursing or advanced oncology certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience with chemotherapy and oncology protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oncology patient assessments and histories.
• Develop and manage evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans.
• Prescribe chemotherapy and supportive therapies per protocols.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Provide symptom management and palliative care interventions.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options.
• Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Participate in tumor boards, quality initiatives, and clinical protocols.
• Document care in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Support process improvement and patient safety.
