A regional oncology provider is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive cancer care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Qualifications

• Must maintain certification as an Adult, Family or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
• Must meet State of Tennessee requirements as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Certification in Oncology by the Oncology Nurses Society preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute patient problems including oncological emergencies.
• Perform history and physical examinations for diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide pre-treatment chemotherapy education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians for co-management of patient care.
