Alabama Oncology seeks a skilled Nurse Practitioner for our Grandview Clinic location to provide comprehensive oncology patient care. You will work under supervision or with physicians to plan and deliver interventions, educate patients and families, and integrate evidence-based practices into daily care.

Requirements include an MSN and NP certification, plus experience with cancer patient management. Inpatient experience and knowledge of OSHA/Joint Commission standards are a plus, with a focus

Competenze

• MSN from an accredited program and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
• Three years post-MSN nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with managing physiologic and psychological effects of cancer and its treatment.
• Familiarity with OSHA and Joint Commission standards preferred.
• In-patient experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiate and document interventions; prescribe therapies as indicated.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide education.
• Promote wellness and refer to community resources.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Develop knowledge of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.
• Complete patient charge capture and medical record documentation in a timely fashion.
• May provide case management for patients and families.
• May promote/provide staff education.
