Job summary

Arizona Center for Cancer Care in Phoenix seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive oncology care, including assessing patients, planning and managing chemotherapy, and coordinating clinical services.

You will order and interpret diagnostics, develop treatment plans, educate patients and families, document in the electronic health record within 24 hours, and support staff across after-hours coverage. AZ NP certification and OCN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NP degree and active AZ NP license.
• OCN or oncology certification preferred.
• Experience in oncology care and EMR documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide collaborative comprehensive oncology care to patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and adjust therapy accordingly.
• Document findings and care in the electronic health record within 24 hours.
• Educate patients and families; support clinical staff education.
• Coordinate after-hours care and communicate with supervising physician.
