Job summary

Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, WA, is seeking a full-time oncology nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our busy cancer center and infusion services. You will function as an oncology provider embedded within the Treatment Center, triaging urgent cases and educating patients about therapies with physician support.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of oncology experience preferred.
• Ability to triage patients and work with treating physicians.
• Provide real-time education about cancer therapies and diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Manage urgent oncology situations.
• Triage patients from Oncology clinics via Immediate Care Clinic.
• Collaborate with treating physicians in the Treatment Center.
• Help build a brand-new Immediate Care Oncology clinic model with other APCs.
• Work a 4-day week with rotating weekend coverage.
