Job summary

Onco360 in Louisville, KY seeks an Oncology Nurse Navigator to coordinate cancer care, counsel patients, and ensure safety and accuracy in treatment plans. This remote role requires residence within commutable distance to Louisville and work hours that vary Monday–Friday.

Starting salary is $80K+ with a $5,000 sign-on for those joining before Oct 31, 2026. Benefits include 401k, PTO, tuition reimbursement, life and disability coverages, and comprehensive patient communication support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• 1+ years’ oncology experience desired.
• 1+ years in a healthcare setting required.
• 1+ years in a specialty pharmacy setting desired.
• Current RN license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care throughout the patient’s cancer treatment.
• Counsel patients and monitor progress toward drug goals.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and office staff.
• Follow policies to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
• Document adverse drug reactions per guidelines.
• Assist providers and patients by answering questions.
• Review patients’ medical and health history.
• Inform physician or staff of medication issues.

Onco360 is a unique Oncology Pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. Our Onco360 Pharmacy in Louisville, KYhas a need for a Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our growing team! The hours for this position will vary M-F. This position is remote but you must live within commutable distance to our pharmacy location in Louisville, KY.

Starting salary of $80K and above

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before October 31, 2026.

The Oncology Nurse Navigator is a nursing professional who specializes in caring for people with cancer. This position will provide professional services to Oncology patients in a manner that maximizes quality and patient safety. This position is responsible for helping to coordinate the many aspects of care throughout the patient’s cancer treatment. They will manage and counsel patients and follow set policies and procedures that are established for Onco360 pharmacies.

• Provides medication therapy management.
• Assist health care providers and patients, greeting them by phone, answering questions and requests.
• Review medical and health history of patients.
• Communicates with patients and physician’s office staff.
• Complies with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
• Document any adverse drug reactions according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Informs pharmacy manager of medication errors.
• Documents all communication with physicians, or other healthcare providers.
• Follow up with patients and providers to monitor progress towards meeting drug treatment goals.

Oncology Nurse Navigator Position Qualifications:

Education/Learning Experience

• Required: Bachelors of Science in Nursing
• Desired: 1+ years’ experience in oncology

Work Experience

• Required: 1+ years in a healthcare setting
• Desired: 1+ years in specialty pharmacy setting

Skills/Knowledge

• Required: compassion, good communication skills, critical thinking, adaptability, attention to detail
• Desired: clinical and/or case management experience

Licenses/Certifications

• Required: Current license as registered nurse
• Desired: ONCC or ONS certification
