Job summary

Mission Hospital, part of Mission Health and an HCA Healthcare system, seeks a Nurse Manager of Oncology to lead daily operations in the K9 Oncology unit. You will allocate resources to ensure safe, high-quality care and integrate clinical, human resource, and financial data to drive decisions.

You will promote research, support staff development, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while advancing Mission Health’s guiding principles and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN) required.
• National Certification in area of specialty within 1 year of accepting role; leadership or clinical practice acceptable.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates leadership through supervision, facilitation, and coordination of clinical care.
• Collaborates with nursing leadership in planning, innovations and initiative evaluation.
• Promotes professional development and a supportive learning environment for staff and students.
• Participates as a team member to achieve business goals and aligns with Mission Health standards.
