Qualifications

- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
Responsibilities
- Provides direct nursing care for hematology/oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and supportive care.
- Performs nursing assessments and triage for patient care needs.
- Provides education to patients, families, and significant others; acts as information resource.
- Provides family support including referrals and bereavement counseling.
- Follows department policies, safety, and quality improvement standards; may train other staff.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
