Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, MO is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established oncology team. This role offers no call and no weekend shifts with a schedule 8:00am–4:30pm.

You will collaborate with Medical Oncologists, manage patient evaluations, treatment planning, education, and follow-up while maintaining a strong patient-family rapport in a community-focused health system.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree required.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant.
• New graduates are welcome to apply; oncology training available.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain meaningful rapport with patients and families.
• Perform evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and side effect management.
• Collaborate with Medical Oncologists on chemotherapy regimens and care plans.
• Review labs, imaging, and diagnostic results to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Coordinate follow-up care and ongoing management.
• Serve as a consistent clinical presence for patients throughout their treatment journey.
