Job summary

Providence Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle, Washington is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its Solid Tumor Oncology team in both clinic and hospital settings, focusing on GI and GU malignancies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Washington State licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Oncology experience preferred, though candidates with strong related clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage oncology patients across GI/GU malignancies.
• Monitor treatment response and manage symptoms; coordinate survivorship care.
• Participate in clinical trials and innovative cancer therapies.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including oncologists, surgeons, nurses and pharmacists.
• Share responsibility for Transition Rapid Access Clinic and timely patient access.
