Job summary

Bon Secours in Greenville, SC, seeks an Integrated Oncology Therapist to deliver outpatient mental health services within the oncology program. You will assess, counsel, and develop service plans for patients and families, coordinating with oncology providers and a psychiatric consultant to support recovery and remission.

You will use PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scales, document in the EMR, and provide education on depression, anxiety, and alcohol misuse while participating in multidisciplinary care

Qualifications

• Graduate degree (Masters) required.
• Licensure as LISW-CP is required.
• Active licensure in South Carolina (SOCIAL WORK).
• Specialty in counseling, psychology, or social work field.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient mental health services and interventions within oncology program.
• Coordinate care with oncology providers and the consulting psychiatrist.
• Screen and assess patients using PHQ-9, GAD-7, and other validated scales.
• Complete clinical documentation: treatment plans, assessments, progress notes, per regulations.
• Provide psychoeducation and counseling for depression, anxiety, and alcohol misuse.
• Develop treatment plans and communicate plan to care team.
• Lead or participate in group sessions and referrals to community resources.
