Job summary

Corcept Therapeutics seeks an Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the North Central Territory including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The role focuses on thought leader engagement, scientific education, and data-driven medical insights within gynecologic oncology and other malignancies.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced clinical or medical science degree (PhD/MD/PharmD) with 1–3+ years of MSL experience and 2+ years in oncology.

Qualifications

• Strong scientific oncology acumen and familiarity with NCCN guidelines.
• Exemplify core competencies: curiosity, teamwork, communication and decision making.
• Business acumen across drug development functions (clinical, regulatory, etc.).
• Demonstrate project management to prioritize tasks and meet timelines.
• Ability to review literature and provide evidence-based insights.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills across teams.

Responsibilities

• Model and promote Corcept’s principles to build accountability, innovation, and trust.
• Engage in scientifically meaningful discussions with thought leaders and HCPs in oncology to enhance knowledge of Corcept and glucocorticoid receptor antagonism.
• Support Corcept products via medical communications and education through in-depth scientific presentations.
• Respond to medical inquiries from HCPs in a timely and scientifically accurate manner.
• Engage in scientific exchange on Corcept’s data and clinical development with internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, and oncology associations.
• Capture, analyze, and communicate insights from the medical community to inform decisions.
• Support company-sponsored trials, IIS, publications, and scientific education.
• Maintain high standards of scientific, clinical, and technical expertise.
• Critically review literature and provide evidence-based insights.
• Collaborate across Medical Affairs and other functions; share information regularly.
• Attend conferences, ad boards, and identify KOLs for participation.
• Maintain territory plan and adapt plans based on environment.
• Travel approximately 50-70%.
