WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV seeks a Medical Oncologist to join a growing team. The role supports an 8a–4p, Monday–Friday schedule with every-other-week call and in-clinic chemotherapy infusions.

You will work alongside two physicians and APPs, with opportunities for research, clinical trials, and scribe support to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree plus eligibility for WV medical license and DEA registration.
• Board eligibility or certification in Oncology/Hematology (BE/BC).
• Completed an ACGME-accredited residency in oncology/hematology.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical oncology/hematology care to a diverse patient population.
• Share in call schedule (every other week) with in-clinic coverage 8a–4p M–F.
• Perform minor procedures such as in-office chemotherapy infusion, bone marrow biopsy, and pathology review.
• Collaborate with APPs and nursing staff; participate in research and clinical trials.

• Minor procedures may include, in-office chemotherapy infusion, in-office phlebotomist, on-site pathology, on-site bone marrow biopsy
• Opportunities for research and clinical trials
• We have scribe support available, clinical staffing support, RN support

• Average daily patient volume is 15-18
• Minor procedures may include, in-office chemotherapy infusion, in-office phlebotomist, on-site pathology, on-site bone marrow biopsy
• Opportunities for research and clinical trials
• We have scribe support available, clinical staffing support, RN support

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Will need to obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire
• BE/BC in Oncology/Hematology
• Completed an ACGME-accredited residency
