Job summary

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV seeks a Medical Oncologist to join our dynamic team. You will provide comprehensive oncology care, participate in research, and support in-office chemotherapy and related procedures.

The position includes a schedule of 8a–4p, M-F, with alternating weekend call and in-patient coverage supported by APPs. WV license and DEA registration are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Will need to obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire
• BE/BC in Oncology/Hematology
• Completed an ACGME-accredited residency

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oncology care to a diverse patient population.
• Perform in-office chemotherapy infusions and related procedures as needed.
• Participate in research and clinical trials to advance patient care.

• Minor procedures may include, in-office chemotherapy infusion, in-office phlebotomist, on-site pathology, on-site bone marrow biopsy
• Opportunities for research and clinical trials
• We have scribe support available, clinical staffing support, RN support
