Qualifications

• RN Diploma/ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure as an RN in Tennessee.
• 1 year of related clinical experience required.
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• Oncology certifications must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• ONS chemo/biotherapy certificates must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing and personnel management including interviewing, hiring and training.
• Oversee care of patients on unit and provide support to staff.
• Ensure adherence to standards of care and competency through evaluation.
• Coordinate all unit activities including safety procedures and department operations.
• Handle patient, visitor, or physician complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to improve patient care delivery.
