Job summary

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers seeks an experienced Pharmacy Supervisor for IV Admixture to lead our sterile compounding team in the West Valley. You will oversee daily operations, ensure patient safety, and drive adherence to regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates bring extensive IV compounding experience, licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Arizona, and proven leadership capabilities to mentor staff and improve processes within our oncology infusion setting.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CphT).
• 5+ years of IV compounding experience or graduation from an accredited IV Admixture Technician program.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical calculations, and medication safety standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and pharmacy technology systems.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel throughout the Metro Phoenix area.

Responsibilities

• Lead our sterile compounding team and oversee daily operations.
• Provide supervision, onboarding, training, and evaluations for IV Admixture Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with aseptic technique standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality audits, maintain documentation, and monitor medication safety.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and cost-saving initiatives; manage month-end reporting.
