Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT, is seeking an experienced Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our collaborative team delivering patient-centered cancer care. You will develop treatment plans, manage symptoms, and work closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary oncology team.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, participate in complex decision-making, and support patients through care transitions to ensure a compassionate experience for patients and families.

Qualifications

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required.
• Oncology experience required.
• Preferred Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Active Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Serve as medical oncology in-patient consult service providing care to patients when admitted.
• Manage chemotherapy clearance for inpatient administration and assist the Primary Medical Team with Oncology Specific symptom management and assessments.
• Independently evaluate patients and work in collaboration with On-call Physicians, Primary Hospital Medical Team, and other consulting services
