Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Land O' Lakes, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized, high-quality cancer care in the Infusion Clinic. The RN will use the nursing process to plan and manage patient care for oncology outpatients, coordinating with the care team and supporting families.

The ideal candidate has oncology and outpatient clinic experience, Chemo administration skills, and a Florida RN license with BLS certification; certification in chemotherapy is a plus and commitment

Qualifications

• RN with FL licensure (or valid multi-state privilege)
• BLS certification
• Chemotherapy administration experience

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
