Job summary

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Covington, LA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and provide patient care. Under the Nurse Manager, you will assess patient needs, manage IV therapies, and support a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced oncology setting.

The ideal candidate has a LA RN license, BLS CPR, and 3 years of clinic-based nursing experience, with oncology experience preferred. Must work collaboratively with multiple physicians to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in LA required
• BLS CPR required
• ONS/OCN highly preferred
• 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work with multiple physicians

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the Nurse Manager
• Assist in coordinating patient care across disciplines
• Document IV infusions and therapy administration in EMR
