Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our outpatient Infusion Centers in Avon, CT. The per diem RN will deliver holistic, high-quality oncology nursing care, including chemotherapy/biotherapy administrations, symptom management, and patient education to a diverse patient population.

The role requires current Connecticut RN license and OCN Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification (or plan to obtain within first month).

Qualifications

• CT RN license required.
• OCN Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification (or within first month) required/expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care in infusion centers for oncology patients.
• administer chemotherapy/biotherapy, infusions, injections, and transfusions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and scheduling.
• Manage caseload of patients receiving infusion and oral therapies.
