Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks an RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician to provide safe, evidence-based care in an outpatient infusion center. You will administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, while upholding patient-centered care and safety standards.

You will support education, collaboration, and precept new staff as needed, with a focus on compassionate care and culturally aware practice across diverse populations.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Georgia.
• Chemotherapy competency required through approved provider.
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care in a clinical setting.
• Experience in outpatient oncology nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antineoplastic agents, hazardous drugs and targeted therapies.
• Provide patient-centered care in oncology infusion and related settings.
• Perform nursing process and ensure evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate care and documentation with care teams and families.
• Support staff education, onboarding and precept new nurses as needed.
• Maintain chemotherapy competency and compliance with policy and safety standards.
