Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Marietta, GA, seeks an RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician to deliver high-quality cancer care in an outpatient infusion center. You will administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies with attention to safety and patient education.

The role requires licensure as a registered nurse, strong oncology knowledge, and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, while supporting service excellence and compassionate patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN licenses required and must uphold Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
• Knowledge of oncology infusion therapy including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hazardous drugs
• Ability to function in outpatient infusion center and provide education to patients/families
• Willingness to serve as a preceptor and participate in staff development and education

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice
• Deliver safe cancer care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies
• Coordinate care through interdisciplinary communication and documentation
• Provide patient- and family-centered care addressing physical, emotional, and educational needs
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement activities
• Occasional travel between Cobb Hospital sites and float as needed
