Job summary

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, MT, is hiring a Chemotherapy/Infusion RN to administer infusion therapy and chemotherapy with a focus on patient safety and education. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide high-quality oncology care to adults and geriatrics. The role requires Montana RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and oncology experience; CRNI/OCN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Montana Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS and ACLS.
• Current or pending CRNI preferred.
• Current or pending OCN preferred.
• Must maintain continuing education requirements.
• Minimum of three years as an RN; oncology experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course every two years.

Responsibilities

• Administers chemotherapy and infusion therapies per physician orders.
• Performs venipuncture and maintains central line access; manages extravasation.
• Documents assessments, teaching, and medication administration in the patient chart.
• Coordinates care with physicians and other nurses to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
• Provides patient and family education on cancer therapy and treatment options.
• Maintains a clean, organized work environment and follows safety guidelines.
