Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion RN to join our Community Oncology Practice in California. This full-time, on-site role involves direct nursing care, infusion therapies, patient education and thorough documentation to support patients through chemotherapy and other IV treatments.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN/MSN and California RN license, with at least two years in acute care or oncology. BLS and ONS chemo/immunotherapy certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in California required.
• BSN/MSN degree required.
• Oncology infusion and chemotherapy knowledge required.
• Minimum two years acute care/oncology experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy cert preferred.
• PICC line certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, infusion therapy and documentation to patients in the Community Oncology Practice.
• Perform patient assessment, evaluation and administration of chemotherapeutic agents and other IV drugs.
• Educate patients and provide psychosocial support.
• Maintain safe handling of IV drugs and central line care.
