Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and MA/NH licensure required.
• 3 years hospital/oncology experience or 5 years retail with 2 oncology years.
• PGY1 residency is a plus or required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees design and operation of preparation, compounding and dispensing of oncology medications.
• Verifies medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness; consults with providers and nurses as needed.
• Performs quality control on orders, prepared medications, and related records.
• Oversees pharmacy technicians and students; participates in staff training and orientation.
