Job summary

The Oncology Infusion Department at Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a 40-hour-per-week Physician Assistant to join the Infusion Center team. The APP will serve as infusion first responder, support access and efficiency, and may provide urgent care and symptom management in collaboration with medical oncology providers for patients with solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, or related conditions.

The APP may practice at MGBCI BWH licensed practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of oncology-focused PA experience.
• Experience as a responding clinician/PA to acute adverse reactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first responder for acute reactions and medical emergencies in the infusion department.
• Collaborate with oncology teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide consultation to nurses and providers to maintain access to infusion services.
• Writes, modifies and addends orders per current guidelines.
• Maintains licensure and credentialing requirements.
